James And Jum
Hello there, we are James and Jum, the couple behind South East Asia Travel. We started this site to share our experiences in South East Asia and help others looking to make a trip to this amazing part of the world. Most articles will be down to earth, real world knowledge you can use to plan your trip to any country in South East Asia. But we'll also include some of our travel stories and impressions from our life living as expats in this crazy world.
About James
I got transferred to Thailand in 2007 for my job. Not long after we were in the middle of the financial crisis and I lost my job. I had two options. Return home and try to find another soul sucking job, or stay in Asia and try and continue with the life I had learned to love. I opted for the latter and have not regretted it since.
I work online as a writer and run this website with my girlfriend Jum as a hobby. I love South East Asia and would be happy to help answer any questions you have.

About Jum
James and I met in 2012 while he was on one of his soul searching journey's across Thailand. We hit it off and have been together ever since. While he writes most of the articles here at our website, I am in the background giving my local knowledge of Thailand and surrounding countries. (I'm from Thailand)
I may write an article from time to time, but mainly I prefer to be the brains behind the scenes :-)
